Trip Overview

Our Everest Base Camp Trekking itinerary customized for beginners to experience trekkers with hassle free airport to airport services. A scenic ‘35 minutes flight’ from capital city Kathmandu brings you Lukla, gateway to Everest Base Camp. Then, this 14 days Everest Base Camp Trekking route raises though the Sherpa villages over countless ridges and closer to the ice-giants than any other treks.

Everest Base Camp Trekking difficulty minimizes the risk of Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS) by two rest and acclimatization days before conquering Everest Base Camp. From Namche Bazaar, we visit the National Park headquarters with displays of local flora and fauna and the culture of the Khumbu Sherpas. An afternoon walk to the Sherpa village of Khumjung offers an authentic experience of Sherpa traditional life. Magnificent views include Thamserku, Kangtega, Ama Dablam (The Jewel), Island Peak plus the Everest – Lhotse – Nuptse group.

High Sherpa villages Pangboche and Dingboche, offer another acclimatization stop: walk to Nangkartshang Hill for fitness at the higher altitudes. See unparalleled views of the Ama Dablam, Lhotse and Nuptse glaciers. As the altitude rises, the temperature drops, forests give way to alpine scrub, rock and ice. The last village is Gorak Shep: walk to view the ring of peaks surrounding Everest Base Camp (5,364m/17,598ft) on the Khumbu Glacier and the ice fall towards the summit.

An early morning sunrise climb to Kala Pathar offers terrific view of Mount Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Pumori and many more above 6,800m Himalayas.

Best Time to trek to Mount Everest Base Camp is Spring (March-April and May), Autumn (September, October and November), though this trek can be done comfortably through all four seasons. Our Everest Base Camp Trek cost includes 2 nights boutique Hotel in Kathmandu, domestic flights, legal trekking documents, guided trek on full board and trekking equipment: duffel bag, comfortable sleeping bag and walking poles.
